TOMBOY STREET STYLE FEAT. CONTENT PRODUCER ELLA JANE

The dust has now settled after my first real fashion week, where I wasn’t there for the parties and/or taking photos of my friends at said parties… And while street style was never my objective, I did get snapped.

My outfits were barely a step up from what I would wear on a weekday, see first look: trackies! I definitely was not dressed or sponsored by anyone so, I wasn’t quite ready… Though, as awkward as I felt scooting past the paps, to be real: the Leo in me was stoked.

This diary documents my Monday through Wednesday outfits. By Thursday I was wearing a look my editor described as ‘bumish,’ (cheers, Chlo!) Read: no inclusion here. On Friday I was off site, and comfortable in a variation of Monday’s look.

MONDAY: I got home at 6am so trackies were a must. I did try to chic-it-up a bit with an oversized shirt and my Gucci loafers. With the amount of running around I did, this casual ensemble served me well.

Styling: Shirt: Topshop, Pants: Le Coq Sportif, Shoes: Gucci, Bag: Kenzo, Sunglasses: Sabre Eyewear.

Beauty: NARS Sheer Glow Foundation mixed with Moisturizer, Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush in Nectar, BECCA Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone.

TUESDAY: Consider this look pre-planned, because I have worn it before, pre-fashion week. I love the low back of this slip with a printed t-shirt underneath, makes me feel cooler than I actually am. So do the combat boots.

Styling: Dress: 1920 Online, Shirt: vintage, Bag: Kenzo, Boots: MM6 Maison Martin Margeila FW/16

WEDNESDAY: 60% of this outfit was borrowed. Not from PR press racks but over the first three hours of Wednesday morning. The shirt? My roommate’s. The jacket? A friend’s, it’s men’s btw! And the vintage belt? Model, Peyton Knight’s, who I shot in the morning for this feature.

Styling: Jacket: AM Crew, Jeans: vintage, Shirt: Bad Dreems Merch, Belt: vintage, Bag: Kenzo, Shoes: Gucci, Sunglasses: Ray-Ban.

Honorary mention to the Kenzo bag which accompanied me all 3 days – it holds more than you could imagine, and ensured I didn’t lose any important bits and pieces – due to handbag changes.

Big thanks to WHO WHAT WEAR for awarding me The Best Newcomer in their street style awards, The Streeties. S/O to Adam Katz Sinding of Le 21ème (who ALWAYS gets it right) for shooting me exclusively for TOMBOY Beauty.
