Last week I was in Paris for fashion week, the final week of the month-long season. And dun dun dun… I didn’t upload from the collection shows once! Bad editor? Maybe. Busy shooting something epic? Actually! As a reader, could you care less?
I created this beauty website so that I could work on something I am passionate about everyday of the week. It would almost be sacrilege if I didn’t see great value in the collection shows – or more specifically what goes on backstage. That said, I am the first to recognise that the average girl does not ‘fan girl’ over Pat, Guido, Sam, Tom and Peter quite like I do, nor can she mention every Le Vernis shade from Chanel, by season. With that in mind, I felt a general resistance to sling together a trend gallery using purchased images from Getty or to publish a series of press releases on show how-to’s complete with recommendations for products, I’ve never trialled.
Instead, I wanted to share something unique…And not much more says one-off than a an EXCLUSIVE backstage shoot with Kendall Jenner backstage at Dior FW 16 Ready To Wear in her beauty look, created by the greats: Peter Philips and Guido Palau.
